From Bakewell
take the A6 south for approximately 2 miles and turn
right on to the B5056 just past Haddon Hall.
Follow the B5056 for 3 miles until you reach the cross roads sign
posted Elton to the Right, Winster to the left. Turn left on to the
B5057 (to Winster) and follow the road pass Winster Cemetry and St.
John Baptist church into the village. Stoneheath Cottage is
situated on the left handside next to the courtyard. |

| From Buxton.
At the main A6 / A515 roundabout
take the A515 in the direction of Ashbourne. After
approximately 11 miles turn left
on to the A5012 at Newhaven.
Follow the A5012 for approximately 2 miles
(through Pikehall) until the road forks. Take the left fork (sign
posted to Winster) and follow the road for approximately 1 mile until
you reach the staggered
cross roads
at the top of the village. Follow West Bank road down a steel hill
until you reach Main St., Turn Left. Stoneheath Cottage is situated on
the left handside next to the courtyard. |

| From Matlock
take the A6 north for approximately 2
miles and turn left onto the B5057 (which is sign posted to Winster).
Follow the road over the railway line, pass the Map and Compass pub,
then over the bridge to Darley Dale and continue up the hill, through
Wensley until you reach Winster. Stoneheath cottage is situated at the
top end of Main street, approximately 100 yards past the post office on
the right-hand side. |
